I am fairly new to quilting, and I just finished my tenth quilt top. I am, of course, wanting to start another. I am looking for simple suggestions, as I don't think I have the patience for anything complicated.

Here is the one I just finished, so you can see the level I am at. I have about ten kinds of purple fabric I didn't use, but I may add another color this time...or several colors. Not sure, just looking for something simple.

Rail Fence, Log Cabin or Nine Patch are all easy and quick.

What sizes have you done? You are doing great. I love Disappearing Nine Patch as well as the others mention. Crumb quilt is a favorite too.I love the scrappies!

Rail Fence would be a good one for you.

Turning Twenty patterns are easy. You'll have to buy the booklet unless you know someone with one already but they're easy, quick, and fun.

I agree. and they're interesting quilts - they look like alot of hard work and they're not

Dina...I love the colors and the design of your quilt. Could you tell me the pattern name? I would like to do something like that in shades of blue. Thank you very much. :D

Wonderful ideas, I am looking at all of them. Thank you soooo much.

Catz, the pattern is called What Knots? I got it from a book called Mystery quilts by Rita Fishel. I don't know if it is available from anywhere else. It would be beautiful in shades of blue.
