What notions and tools do you have and can't live without?

my favorite is a round rotating cutting board from Come Quilt with Me
the obvious: rotary cutters in 3 different sizes, small cutting board, large cutting board 36" wide, dillybob, seam ripper etc I don't make templates, have them made by a local glass company, about a buck each - have 50+ that I've acquired over time, use and love. many clear plastic scrapbooking square boxes in which I keep the 12-15 projects in the works Nancy Crow's 3 1/2" x 12" ruler a 2 1/2" X 6 1/2" ruler paper towel and toilet paper cardboard cores on which I roll cut strips there's npthing I can think of for a wishlist I usually buy notions at large quilt shows because the vendors have the latest items from recent market shows |
Seam ripper and rotary cutter for me too, and now that I'm getting old a needle threader is coming in handy.
|
An abundance of thread. I hate when there are gaps in the thread display. Orvis for quilt cleaning, basting spray, a variety of rulers and mats. Tools and supplies that would be useful for classes being taught there. Gift items for other quilters.
