What is the WORST thing you've EVER ate? And it has to be edible!

I'll go first....kolrabi. My mother made it years ago and I can still remember the taste and that it was foul (at least for me).

When in Asia I tried those preserved eggs much loved by Chinese people - greenish black jelly on the outside and the inside a funny greenish colour - look disgusting, smell disgusting and truly the worst thing I have ever tasted (quantity consumed miniscule).

Oysters on the half shell. OMG! Gag.

Matjes...uhhh, I hate it....

Try 'em sprinkled with cooked chopped bacon and drizzled with Worcester Sauce - then Grill - Oyster's Kilpatrick - Yum.

What are Matjes???

Truly the most awful thing I have ever tasted are snails. Really...and I will eat almost anything.

Scrapple. I like to try regional specialties when we travel, but the taste of this was one I didn't like and I couldn't get the taste out of mouth.
