I have a potluck tomorrow and need something quick and easy to make.

Cook up a box of salad macaroni until it is not quite fully cooked.
Mix up a small box of vanilla pudding and add the drained macaroni to it, cover and refrigerate. It will absorb the flavor and finish softenening up over night.

Tomorrow, add a can or two of drained fruit cocktail to it and whipping cream or cool whip. It makes an awesome fruit salad. I sometimes make it with all fresh fruit, or add fresh to the canned. People find it hard to believe it is macaroni, as it tastes like vanilla pudding :D:D:D

Really? I bet my bf would love this...he loves fruit cocktail mixed with pudding!

I love potlucks, but most people do desserts. Since they do, I always make something light that will go with anything. How about just making a healthy green salad with a light vinegrette? I always find that most folks appreciate a nice, cold salad.

Deviled eggs! Everyone loves them and they are easy but everyone seems to forget about them!

I use instant, it is easier to make, but cooked would work fine too.
