I finished the baby quilt. What do you think. I was going to ty some of the blocks with blue ribbon, any thoughts?

Really cute quilt.

Personally, I wouldn't use ribbons or ties on a baby quilt-don't think it would be a choking hazard but they would probably fray if the quilt is washed alot or pull off as the baby gets older. (Just my very humble opinion). Love your quilt-you did a great job.

Don/t think ribbon a good idea as it doesn"t really hold up well when washed, what about tying with a blue yarn or perle cotton?

I love it ...love the legs, too! You might try doing a "tack" stitch at the intersections. I do a tight zig-zag....you can make it as big, wide, or long as you want. Do it in blue and it would be cute. I've done it on baby quilts....I rather like it!

You mean "outline" each square with a zig zag stitch, do you have a picture if one done? Interesting thought..
