Here's a picture of the chair covers that I made 'cause I was too cheap to have the chair recovered. Its a "double rail (?) pattern with different sized strips and I made it large enough to tuck in the side and under the seat cushion and the same with the arm covers. Its pinned to the back and under the arms with double pronged pins. Sew far sew good

What a good idea! I like it and especially like the covers.

Me too for my cat to lay on. She loves the top of the chairs. Great idea.

Where there's a will there's a way.

Or is that, Where there's a way there's a million others. ;)

No matter, either way, it works great!!! Very inventive!

Pretty! I love the colors, and it would be perfect for a chair.

Nice of you to do that for her :)

You weren't too cheap, you were too creative! Now then, doesn't that sound much better? Besides, you couldn't have purchased anything that pretty--it isn't on the market.
Whomever sits in the at chair will be sitting in the arms of love.
