My DSIL, who also quilts, has MS and is slowing down in her quilt making. So ..... she asked me to stop by, and asked me if I'd like to take this fabric so she won't feel so guilty about not using it. I'm so sorry that she doesn't feel well enough to sew, but I'm so glad that she decided to "spread the wealth around"!
I told her I feel like my sewing room is a fabric store now! Jelly rolls Fat Quarters Just fabric |
Lucky You!!! I love it when people give me their cast-offs. I have fun just spending a day looking through it, day dreaming of what I can do with it. The family joke is if a grandchild needs a fabric for a school project they come to "Grannie's Store" first. My granddaughter's girl scout troop had fun "shopping" here one day. I tell anyone who needs something to come shop here first.

What a sweet DSIL. I am also sorry she can't sew quite as much as she would like. I think I might make her a nap sized quilt or make a couple quilts to give to a shelter/hospital in her name.

Lucky you!! You'll be able to make some wonderful quilts with all that beautiful fabric.
So sorry to hear about your DSIL though! She'll be in my thought & prayers! |
I love it when people are blessed! What a great friend you have.

Nice friend.

So sorry to hear about your SIL but so nice that she thought of you.
Now sew up a storm and make her proud. |
How kind of your SIL. It was nice that she thought about you.

What a blessing. Maybe you can make her a special quilt.

Wow, I'm really torn on this. So happy for you, so sad for her.
