Ok, so I bought a pattern for a kitty wallhanging and it had PP blocks. I had not tried that yet so I just used some scraps to try it out before using the "good" stuff.
Here is what I learned: when you don't pay attention to getting the right sides together it is REALLY hard to rip those tiny stitches!!! But even #1 turned out usable which was a big surprise to me! So I made 3 and turned into a runner. And a good one for the kitty lovers! |
Love you learning Project. Looks like you had a few distractions. The only thing better than a cat is 2!

That turned out great! The kitties are cute too :)

So, I had to go put the kitty pic on "cheezeburger" so if you'd like to vote for it:

Really nice. What is PP?

Look at you go! Most people don't master paper piecing that quickly. Great job! Love your attack kitties too.

Thanks Chele!
I haven't been quilting long but I have been sewing for 46 years, mostly clothing. I was going to make potholders but when the very 1st block was actually usable I thought of a runner instead. I will use it for a hostess gift to DIL when I visit next month. And I will never confess to it being my very 1st three blocks of paper piecing! |
