ANY benefits of having a Facebook page?

It'll drive you nuts...LOL Took me forever to figure out I could block my friend's game playing (farmville is one). I have been able to connect with friends I haven't seen since high school!!! We've all had a ball yakking back and forth, sharing our grandkid's pictures and our craft pictures!

I stay in touch with my family and friends that do not live localy via facebook, also get to share photos that way.

I can share pictures and videos of my kids with my whole family all at once. Since I started using Facebook, I haven't had a single family member bug me for a picture.

I keep up with my granddaughter's activities and what she is doing with the pictures she posts. And I found most quilt shops and known quilter designers have a facebook with lots of good info not found on their store site or a heads up on great sales. I use a free gmail account to sign up.

Do you self a favor and block all game info unless you play the games. Some of my quilt buddies play more games then sew.

I really enjoy having FB. I do not play any of the games (would rather be quilting) but it is so nice to be able to see, in just a glance or two, what family and friends are doing! It is just another of those new things that you have to decide how much time you want to devote to.

I have a Facebook page, but don't use it. It was at my niece's urging to keep up with my Great Nieces. I don't like that it is so public. Maybe I don't know enough about it, but it seems like there is no anonymity to it.

I too signed up, reluctantly, at the request of my granddaughter. I didn't like it and haven't used it since. I can do all I want to with email, and it stays within our family unless we choose to do otherwise.
