Although I'm sure we'd love to join the rest of the Pacific Northwesters for their meetups, it's a 5 hour drive to Portland and an 8 hour drive to Seattle. Are there any quilters in S. Oregon and N. California that would like to meet once in a while for show and tell and maybe potluck?
Post on this thread and let's get something started! :D |
We no longer live there (we are in NC), but my husband is from Klamath Falls. We travel back at least twice a year for 2-3 week visits. There are a number of quilters in your town.
When we come into town (next visit will be March 2011) I'd love to get together to 'show and tell' and potluck! |
Awesome! Yes, there are a lot of quilters in this town. I've tried joining quilting clubs but they all meet during the week, during the day and I work! lol We'll definitely plan something for March. :)

Hi I live in Northern California - The Klamath River is right across the street. Do you know Wooden Spools shop in Yreka? That is where I get most of my fabric and supplies. Would be nice to have a get together - we are probably about 3 hrs from each other but close on the map. I live downriver from hwy 96.

I live near Sacramento, if you are ever in the area let me know.

I have a friend that lives in Yreka and always wanted to go visiting. Maybe we could organize a get together there one month, Klamath another month, Redding another month, Ashland the next month, etc. That way we could hit up ALL the LQS! lol
What's the halfway point between Sacramento and Oregon? Maybe one month we could meet there. :) |
I'm in north eastern CA. I'm about 100 miles south and east of Klamath. I would love to get together.

Awesome! Maybe we could plan something for October?

Let me know ahead of time and I'll try to get up there. I'll PM you after this and give you my email address.

I'm near Medford, OR. Life is busy, but my little group and I would love to hear if you're planning anything!
