i can honestly say, that pattern has never been a favorite of mine, if mine had looked like this, i would of made another one!

..but hers is beautiful! it must be the light and dark fabrics surrounding/making of the spool. a real stunning quilt!

oh now that's lovely. blocks within the spools. at a recent quilt show i saw house blocks with pieced blks for the main section of the house. I loved it too!!
