My best friend had her birthday in september but that time I was ver long ill, so I created now a larger miniquilt for her not only a placemat like I first thought. And here is the quilttop, what do you think? which color border, any border?

This is adorable! I love those fabrics! :D:D:D
Maybe a border with the same brown as the sashing pieces?

That is a great quilt! The little one is adorable too!

I agree, I think I would use the same material you used for the sashing for a border.

Very cute. I agree with Amma. Sashing fabric in the border. Doesn't have to be big, but it would give it more of a finished appearance.

thanks you like it, but I have a problem, I dont have enough fabric of those sashing, thats tricky now

How about a green like one of the colors in the triangles? That would set the squares off. Doesn't have to be a solid, but a darker green print.

What about the fabric in the cornerstones? That would also work.

That is really nice.I would use a rust colored border.

I think a very narrow border in black, and then a little wider border in a rust color that is close to the sashing color.

That is just darling. She is going to love it. I would use the brown for a border. It would frame it nicely. Great job and thanks for sharing.
