I read on here the other day about using Crayolas for marking your quilts.
But, I can't remember if it was washable crayons or
washable markers. Markers sounds right but just not sure.
Thanks

Crayola washable markers.

Warning~~~~do a test swatch before you mark your quilt. Make sure they will wash out. Also check if using your iron makes a difference. I'm in the test stage myself. Let us know how it goes!

Crayola markers are non-toxic but they don't wash out of everything. I would use some other way to mark a quilt.

My DGD wrote all over one of her shirts with Crayola washable markers. Told her mother she wanted to test them. They didn't wash out and ruined the shirt. Needless to say my DDIL was just a little bit unhappy  :x :!:

Definitely test on scraps first.

I also would like to know how it works.

It probably depends on the fabric, and the way you wash it also. I used them on a small 100% cotton piece that I was practicing fmq on and it came out totally. I wouldn't press a quilt after it was marked with anything. I only use them on things for me and things that are for practice.

I don't know, but I would be careful with any dark color.
