I just tried June Tailor Quilt Basting Spray...and I sure hope it washes out of the Wall Hanging easier than off my hands. I used laundry soap, alchol and fantistic bath cleaner and I still have sticky stuff on my hands..
Any suggestions appreciated. |
I used the same spray brand on a quilt yesterday. It hardly seemed like it had any stickiness to it. I didn't have any trouble getting it off my hands. But I have trouble seeing the tiny printed instructions and I didn't read that you needed to shake the can for a full 2 minutes before using. Maybe that is why it washed off my hands easily.

All of the basting sprays seem to have that sticky problem.. Try goo gone it takes it off the table I use and my hands fairly easy.

I think the June Taylor brand is more difficult to wash off than some of the others :D:D:D

I swear by the 505 basting spray. Never had an ounce of trouble with it.

It does wash out, but it is hard to get off your hands.

Try using a good amount of hand lotion before basting or better yet, buy some of the surgical gloves to wear before basting!
