just curious, does anyone else have one of these? I got mine for $20 at a flea market, I like it because it is smaller than a normal portable, although it is no featherweight!! Just a good sturdy little machine.

I think all old Singers make a beautiful stitch. I have 4 FW's, 2 301's, 99K, 185 and a 503 and they all sew like a dream. They don't make them like they used to!!

I would agree..3 FW's, 99, 185j,603 plus an elna jubilee, bernina 153 & 200 and a tin lizzie...It is a sickness. i hope I don't see any more old singers for $5.00...I would have to buy it, :)

I made the handcream from the recipe that was on here, it looked fine and then going on a trip with a higher elevation it seemed to separate and look a little different. Any ideas on what I might have done wrong, or was it the elevation? I gave a jar to my three quilting buddies, and it was the same. I was embarrased.
