I am looking for an idea for a quilt. My daughter is having foot reconstruction surgery in December. I am looking for something related to feet, since after this surgery she should be able to walk normal after 2 years. She will be in the hospital for approximately 3 weeks and I want something from home to be with her. Does anyone have any ideas? I have even been searching for the "Footprints" story, without any luck. Plz help!

What about the flipflop quilt, every block is a different color flipflop. heres a link for the idea. Either make it 3d or 2d, looks really simple, just trace a flipflop and appliqué to a block.

A friend of mine had foot surgery and I did a shoe quilt with all different shoe fabrics (including Dorthy's ruby red slippers). There are a lot of them out there. She loved the quilt.
