    Last summer my DIL and I canned green beans, tomatoes, peaches, and beef on her glass top stove- no problem. These were all done in pints in the pressure canner. No problems.

    You are correct- the knife goes next to the plate, however, the blade should be next to the plate. To clear up all of the misnderstandings, google correct table setting procedure.

    Since I have fitting problems, I have found that it is much easier to make my own. You can google Stretch and Sew or Kwik -Sew ( they have quite a selection). You can also google swimwear fabric....
