I had committed to not enlarging my very large stash...... and then my Mom passed away... and her stash was larger than mine. So my stash is beyond calling it a stash.... its a fabric store without...

The few shows that I do specifically state they will not allow any merchandise made with Licensed fabrics. Best to check with the show before you proceed.

I hope you raise lots of $$$ with the blue quilt. Consider adding the string quilts as well ( they are pretty too) to the auction as the charity can always use cash.

I finally accumulated way to many just "waiting" for a project. I finally tossed them. It felt good to reduce the "stuff" I had that was just taking up space.

I am like you . I will piece together anything over a 1inch strip. Its amazing how fast you can accumulate bits and put them together for something project size.

My advise , take only cash, leave the check book and credit cards home. A new LQS sure is exciting!

I am not much of a fan of sampler quilts. The ones I do like have continuity in the fabrics used.

I spray on my basement floor with a sheet spread out to cover at least 18 inches past where I am spraying...once I am done I toss the sheet in the washer and use warm or hot water.

I starch only to get better construction results. It sure helps with bias edges, and cut down on the raveling. It is my favorite sewing notion.
