    thank you for your quick reply. A very good tutorial. i will try it next time. i have only tried once and sewed from the back and then you see the stitching near the edge of the binding on the front.

    I have brought some lovely hand dyed felt and silk organza. I want to layer up with the organza on top. Then want to embroider it with fancy stitches on my machine or even couching down...
