    Just finished this corner quilt rack. Similar to the rack I installed above the stair railing. This one is also made of quarter sawn white oak.

    I think it would be a challenge for a beginner, especially if they did not have a drill press, a band saw and a table saw with a tapering jig. Good luck if you decide to make one.

    Good job for sure....
    I made the arms longer and put a rounded board on the arms to distribute the weight of the quilts a little more.

    Trashed 2 Rowentas, both leaked terribly. I think the older ones made in Germany were of high quality and lasted. Not sure where the new ones are made, but they are not of high quality. imho.

    I would have considered taking a picture of the damaged area and a picture of the dog, combining the pictures and printing it on some fabric sheets and patching the hole with it.

    I used a piece of white oak and drilled some holes of varying sizes. I attached with a piece of flat bar steel drilling to match a couple of bolts on the frame.

    Ironing Center Complete

    Got the upper storage unit installed.
    As with the lower unit I used old trim boards for the doors and case facing.
    Can't see it too well, but there is a 4' light under the upper cabinet.

    I am in the process of making cabinets to go above the ironing center.
    Have to run some wiring for the lights, and an outlet for the iron.

    Ironing Center Drawers

    Finished the drawers for the ironing center.
    They are on full extension ball bearing sliders.
    There is a storage area above the drawers for cutting mats and stuff....
