    Attached are the next three Mariner's Stars quilt blocks. I posted the first three about a month ago. If you recall, this is done via paper piecing.

    Yes, most fabrics were from my stash. They take such little pieces to get each doll done. You wouldn't need more than a scrap or fat quarter.

    Thumbs up China Dolls Quilt

    Appliqued China dolls on cream cotton and then quilted. Quilt has rounded corners and finished size is 52" square.

    Start of a Mariner's Star

    This is a sixteen block, paper pieced Mariner's Star. I can only get one block a month done before I go crazy so I'm thinking it won't be done until the end of the year.

    Large Apple Core Flannel Quilt

    Found this pattern in a Fons & Porter magazine. The apple core sections are approximately 18" in length. It went together like a dream. A real fun quilt.

    I had very similar problems with my HQ16. I called the shop where I bought it and they told me to be sure all connections were tight. That did the trick. One of the cables was loose.
