    My Sears sewing machine finally gave up the ghost and my son got me a brother CSi6000. It's light weight, and does a lot of different stitches and it was only $155 on Amazon. I love it.

    I have a FoodSaver and I put mine in the FoodSaver bags, vacuum seal them and then store the bags in a pop corn can that I received for Christmas one year. They keep really well that way.
