    I have a Bernina 640. I started out with the Bernette 340. (It is similar to the Janome 350.) Bernina sells them. Mine was a great machine. It has a 5 x 7 hoop, but I wanted the 6 x 10.

    I haven't been able to get it down any way it's fixed. It was one of those "you are going to sit here til you eat it" things. Sat there until midnight. She finally gave up and let me go to bed. LOL

    I have a Pfaff and the IDT is great for piecing. But, I found out that the walking foot on my Bernina is better to sew bindings on. The foot holds the fabric down better.
