    Those are pretty simple to clean & oil. Unless the belt is loose it should sew just fine. & CHANGE your needle. They do need to be oiled. * use a q-tip with oil & run around the bobbin area

    Don't use metal if your machine calls for plastic. You can use plastic for metal tho. The metal wears the bobbin case.

    The Yelllow Brick Road pattern is one I have used many times. Different colors, themes, etc & goes together quickly. Uses 6 fat quarters for sofa /baby size. Most quilt shop should have the pattern.

    Sometimes it is just the bobbin. Sis has one called me having problems. changed bobbin & fine. sometimes the dent in middle of bobbin wears & won't sew right. Found this out by trial & error.
