    Grandma taught me this trick when I was 5.... many, many years ago !! I use the curved basting pins and this works every time on stubborn ones...

    Thanks... I like the idea of a red hand stitch on the binding. Back then, they didn't do a lot of "hidden" stitching, so everything was visible. I'll do a test strip today and see if it looks good....
