I made a disappearing 9 patch... after it was quilted I found two of the rectangles were back to front... while sewing it I found two then, so changed them around but didn't use my head and realise...

maybe put photos on here... someone might recognise them at the house of the person who has them....

When clicking on subjects to see, and you look at the subject then go back to the list, why is it that some stay hilighted and some don't.... several times I have clicked on to a subject and found...

A few days I saw a photo on here of a cot size butterfly quilt... thought I had taken a copy but can't find it... can anyone point me in the right direction please...

I got my quilt back from the quilters and found out that two rectangle pieces were back side showing... too late to do anything about it.... was such a pretty quilt too... can't make out why I didn't...

Lovely quilt.... I have just finished a quilt with that pattern... it looked lovely... and so easy... third one I have made with that pattern...

Pale lemon is much better.... those yellows are far too bright... they don't go with the other colours at all...

The New Zealand prices range from around $28 to $34 per metre... fat quarters that I buy are $7.50.... I won't pay any more than that for them...

I use a pigma pen... don't forget to iron over the writing to stop it from washing out....

I use two rulers... works well...

I said sewing marks...( needle holes)... there are no marks on the materials at all... just there will be lots of needle holes to close up... so will try a brush or something like that... thanks...

I didn't look at the length of the stitches... hope they were not too small... she had stopped in several places... and didn't keep going as she had to go around some squares... just stopped..... and...

Why do you say it would make a mess if washed...the top and backing would only be soaked in warm water to get the stitching marks out... she wouldn't want to wash it with the batting in ...

Why do you say not to wash the top before having it quilted again... it would be just a soak in warm water... to close the needle marks... I am worried about the fabric colours running as she didn't...
