    If this suggestion is on the thread already , please forgive - I didn't see it. Because the seam isn't pressed open, you might try puting it under the pressure foot and sewing a seam to straighten...

    Add on !!! to make it easy, I add 1in and trim if necessary. That 7/8 in keeps me squinting at the mark on the ruler. :thumbup:

    I add 7/8 in to the size I want the triangle to be. - Such as : for a triangle from a 3 in sq. cut the square 3 7/8 in and you should have the correct size. :!:
