When my daughter and her boyfriend got together, I gained three grandchildren. They were each able to 'shop' in Nana's sewing room and come up with fabrics that they would like in their quilt; and we only had a few arguments between the two girls as to who was getting a certain material. Then they looked through my many books and picked out the type of pattern they wanted for their quilt - all without leaving the comfort of my home!
