By the way, when I sandwich a quilt I spread out the backing and tape it good to whatever ( the table for me but could be the floor if it isn't carpet). Then put the batting down and then the top. I don't seem to get any waves when I do it like that. And for the white in the wall-hanging...I like it...Makes the pres stand out...I think if you tea-dyed it those blocks would just blend in and not be as noticeable. Guess that is up to how much you want those to stand out!
