Tasha....sounds like a great idea. Do these have patterns or are they specially edged? there are as many options as there are quilt blocks. If there are special features you want to highlight Then build your design off of them... You may want to check through the search and see if any of the Hankie or Memory quilts give you ideas as well. As for the sheets themselves...they are fabric....treat them as such.
