It looks kind of like what Fiskars made and I don't think it was very successful since they discontinued making them. I just bought one of the ex-Large Hex punches and guess what, I wouldn't even cut thru computer paper !! Are you trying to work on your Bargello quilt?? PM me!!
You must have a bad punch. I have the X large Fiskars hex punch and can punch cardstock with ease. Fiskars has excellent customer service. Just contact them for a replacement. I have the original Fiskars ruler with rotary attached. It works fine. It does two layers with ease and cuts clean and crisp. I was offered $100 for it from a vendor at a quilt show that uses one to cut yardage at the show. She buys everyone she can find on Ebay. $100 isn't going to change my life so I kept it. I haven't tried the new one.
