Absolutely beautiful and your friend can treasure it forever. Sorry your man turned out to be not quilt worthy, unless that makes you happy. It bothered me when I was breaking up but then I got back into my quilt'g ways and figured my quilting was going to stand beside me for the rest of time. Lol.
