Thanks for the reply. I visited San Diego when my grandson graduated from boot camp at Pendleton and I loved it. The people we met from California were wonderful although we all have deep and definitive Texas accents!

Working 33 years in the same place for the same boss sets a record in this day and time. I worked at Permian for 29 years and outlasted several principals and about six superintendents.

I'm interested in using preprinted panels in quilts right now. I bought a really helpful book about how to use them. Of course, some quilters think of those panels as "cheaters," but there are so many of them, attitudes will have to change.
