What an enlightening experience
I attended a workshop at our LQS yesterday... Brandon Mably who has been a manager and a fabric designer with Kaffe Fasset in London for over 15 years enlightened us on COLOR. We worked with the KF Bright Squares pattern from the book Heritage Quilts. We were encouraged to step out of our boundaries and I have to say the blocks on my design wall are not anything that I would have never chosen but was delighted in the outcome and thoroughly enjoyed the class.
Brandon is on tour in the US for 7 weeks and if he shows up in your neighborhood, you shouldn't miss the opportunity for his class. He has posted some of the class photos on Kaffe Fasset FB page, including photos from our class in Maine yesterday.
