Joan, your barrel cactus flower is beautiful. It's crazy that something so beautiful will last only a day. Good thing you didn't miss it and took a picture. Very cool. Aloe plants are nice to have on hand. I'm sure they will sell at the farmers market.
I just spent over an hour on the Quilters Cache site. That's easy to do as there are so many great patterns to look at. I'm going to take a dive into the paper-piecing blocks. No guarantees you'll see any in the near future, but definitely peaked my interest.
