I had taken my ex-husband to the VA hospital in Asheville and before going home we stopped to eat. When we went to pay the waiter told us the couple in the booth next to ours had paid for our meal. I guess they may have heard us talking or maybe it was the AF cap my ex had on. That's the first time I've ever had that happen and it was very appreciated. We thanked the couple as they were leaving.
