About 4 years ago, I initiated an angel gown project and our guild made some of the most beautiful gowns for both boys and girls. They were given to a labor and delivery head nurse I knew in my church to distribute. She related many times how touched the family was at such a sad time to have such a special gift for the occasion. As I was making them, I would cry knowing how the gowns were to be used, but at the same time hope it could be beneficial to a family in crisis. I found a pattern online.
