I am a retired Dental Hygienist. I have used a saddle chair for many years at work. It is a perfect chair and ergonomical as far as sitting in front of a patient or a sewing machine. I never had any back issues or neck issues. I say go for it. They are used in many dental offices. Prevents back neck and leg pain if you have it adjusted correctly. Love them.
