Quossum, the colors in your block are very dynamic. Very Pretty,

gorgeous block belfrybat.

I was working at my cutting table today. Wrote up the rest of the 20 blocks. We've received instructions for 6. Earlier this week, I changed one block, one of the framed ones. I was writing up instructions cut 2-3/8", etc. Then, I decided since it was so detailed, I might as well make it while it was fresh in my head. Shh, don't tell Aby I had 4-5 blocks left to write up, and I finished them. Oddly, one block was crossed through, and noted "cut". I couldn't for the life of me figure where the bits were. Looked all over the cutting room. Hmm. That looked familiar. Ah-ha! it was one of this month's block, no longer cut, but made. SMH. Sometimes, I just don't know about me. ...chuckling

I got two blocks cut and plated in a dishpan. (Square paper plates from Dollar Tree sure are handy) One block I struggled with the four center edge dark blue squares. I had gone really dark olive with the 4 green squares that surround the center sq, and nothing was working. I've used the navy daisies several times. No reason I couldn't again, but the olive & navy weren't playing nice.

I got out an old (2010's) connecting threads bin with a pile of FQ. No blues. Hmmm? Scrolly black? really? haven't used black yet, but I could a couple more times and it would be fine. Laid all the cut bits and interviewed the scrolly black. Why, I do believe you're hired. One of the reasons the black worked, is the red I used had little black flower pots for it's white daisies.
