Yeah, and no antibiotics, steroids, ect. Very low in fat. I prefer to get my fat from butter, thank you very much.

You don't have to worry about me wanting a bite; however, whatever makes you happy. I know that's probably a delicacy in some places, but not here in NE Alabama.

okay I truly think rattlesnake tastes like chicken.. have had it. Gator if cooked right is fabulous.. yummy! There is a place in St. Louis called the Broadway Oyster Bar, got Gator there and it was sooo good! We love venison and thanks to Pam and her hubby we can actually have some now! We really appreciate that, but "Lovin' Man" has to get it now that I have sold my crossbow!

You ladies need to give some "strange" things a try, you never know what might be right up your alley!

There is NO way I could even stay seated at the table watching someone eat it.

Pam, I ate Takoyaki today. Whenever I found a piece of octopus in my mouth it reminded me of this thread, how awful they would feel....LOL
Takoyaki; looks like a cream puff but its filling is octopus instead of cream....

Lets see - Mom use to make "chicken foot soup" when we were growing up - it was delicious! It was back in the 50's, money was very tight. It was like a rice soup with chicken feet floating around - believe me, it WAS good - then a couple years ago at Cedar Lodge we had alligator tail - it was tough, but OK, then there was kidneys over rice - NOT my favorite, ahh and can't forget "turkey nuts" a specialty at McClintocks in Shell Beach, CA.
