Balanced mine and our joint checkbooks, paid some bills, had my morning coffee, emptied the dishwasher and spent too much time here so I'm going to my sewing room and work on some blocks. I have to get my stuff ready for a weekend retreat in 2 weeks. May in Jersey

So far, not much! I had taped a movie a few days ago, so I watched that and then got on my computer. Now it's 11:15 and I'm still here watching tv and reading posts! I need to get groceries today and also need to work on my double wedding ring quilt, but here I sit!

Working on row C of Dear Jane. Hand piecing and trying to get it close to Jane's herself.

My Mother wants a French Hydrangea. Have you heard of those? Do you know where I can get one? We have one blooming pretty pink and I bought her a blue one for Mother's Day. She liked it so well that she went back and bought two more. She saw a picture in Southern Living for the French Hydrangea and now she would like one of them, too. Have a great day.

Made brekky and lunches for DH and myself. Got supper in the crockpot and checked on here before heading to work. Checked here off and on thru' the day as work permitted. Going home tonight to put the binding on step-son and DIL quilt. We are under a severe thunderstorm watch, and it is raining already, so no outside work tonight.

Not much of anything. Still get dizzy when I more around a lot. I could use a gray touching up. My hair grows so fast I could do that almost every week.

Went with DH to the hospital, he had to stay there for almost 7 hours. And I put some awesome music links on my blog.

I took my mom to a day lily nursery in the foothills of Amador County. We had a great time walking through acres of beautiful flowers. We took a simple picnic for lunch and ate under huge oak trees watching ducks and fish swim by and listening to frogs croak. It was a lovely time with my 86 year-old mom!

Why is the quilting in the worse shape when you need it the most? My room looks like a scene from the show "Hoarding". School is out, all of my personal things have to come home with me, plus the teacher that I have worked with for 24 years retires, so she has passed the baton to me in the form of 32 boxes of stuff that we used for all of those years. I have to sort thru them and purge. So right now my quilting room is in ruins, and I really need to sew to get back my sanity.
