This is almost funny. Apparently it isn't just me that finds the Lipton sugar free flavored with lemon tea to be missing something. I noticed that the company was no longer using the same sweetner. After searching all over for the tea, I did call the company only to be told that the earlier artificial sweetner was plugging their screens. I wish they had alerted me to this earlier; I would have bought up cases of it.

Republic of Teas are a little more money; but their flavors are fabulous!!!!

I agree with you about the teas. I make my iced tea the old fashioned way. I used to have to only boil 6 teabags, but lately, i have had to use 8. (this is for making 1 gallon).

Avid tea drinker here, also. i drink mine mostly iced.

I use a tea maker and have been using Lipton lately. My secret is I put 1 raspberry teabag in with the regular family size bags. Theres no raspberry taste and gives it a cool smooth taste when you swallow.

I have always liked McCormicks. It has a hardy flavor. Not at all like Lipton's or some others. I don't know if you can get it. Ask your grocery store manager and sometimes they will order the small boxes to see if they sell.

This is a little off on the teas--but you said they just don't taste the same. When I changed thyroid medication I couldn't stand the drink (diet coke) I had been drinking for years.
Medications can really do things to your taste buds and smell.

I feel the same way, my tea just doesn't taste as good.. I bet anything they are using less. maybe my next cup I'll put in two bags and see if it tastes better.

I tried 2 bags, too much caffeine!!!!
I have tried putting the bag in the water and nuking the whole thing, seems to come out better.

I'm also a tea drinker and prefer the plain tea's , have you tried Tazo tea, I got hooked because it's the brand Starbucks uses and I liked it. Guess what they sell the tea bags at the market, albertsons etc... Very nice good ol cup of tea.....give me a good book or quilt magazine with it and I will be set!
