    I plan on canning some peaches from my peach tree this year if it produces as well as it did last year.What a fun and rewarding thing to do!!I love to can especially with a friend.

    I love my pressure canner! I put up 24 pts of tomato salsa,8 qts
    of tomatoes,11 pts. of carrots this past Spring. They are wonderful!

    Our family favorite is refrigerator dill pickles...all I have to do is go to the Farmer's Market for the pickling cucumbers, the dill and garlic, cut em' up, and put in the jars with spices and vinegar mix. Wait 2 weeks for the pickling to do it's work. Easy and YUMMY!!!

    I put up what ever I am able when able to. Last weekend I made strawberry jam and also strawberry pineapple jam. Ended up with 7 jars of each.

    My family wont eat store bought jams

    Yes, that's a good days work and it sure looks yummy....I make plum jelly from dd"s tree, hubs just loves it... :D

    I bought half pint of fig preserves, but they dont taste like mine did when I could can.
