    Hi I'm from Glasgow in Scotland so we are a bit nearer than our American quilters!! Lovely quilt - love the purple I don't hand quilt - my fingers are a bit arthritic! Keep up the good work!

    Your first quilt sure looks a lot better than my first one. Yours is very pretty and keep up the hand quilting, it makes the quilts look really hand made.

    I love the fabrics and colors you chose. It is a wonderful first quilt!
    It sounds like you need a thimble to save that finger.

    Great job!! I'm also to impatient to hand quit! Tried it...but couldn't get the hang of it..so good for you! Enjoy you're future projects :)

    Beautiful quilt, nice colours. You need to use thimble(s) on your fingers when hand quilting to stop them becoming pin cushions :)
