Steve, you make very lovely blocks. Are you going to do any more of this one. I was really taken with the fall in particular.

Here is my attempt, been out of commission for a couple of months due to a car accident, but had to try this one. I wont be able to catch up becase I still have braces on both legs and it is kind of difficult to reach the pedal or sit for long periods of time. This little bugger took me a week and a half and it is still wonky. I really miss being able to quilt.

OH MARY!!! So sorry to hear about your accident! Geez that is a big OUCH! yikes....hope you are on the mend and heal fast and can get back into the swing of things real soon, but HEY lady you did a GREAT job on this block...no matter how long it took you!!! Its beautiful and I LOVE your WOW fabric!!! that is awesome!!! Take care Mary and get well soon!!!!!

So sorry to hear about your accident. Just sit back and relax don't worry all the blocks will still be here when your back into the sewing swing again. Hope you mend real fast

First of all I'm so terribly sorry to hear about your accident. I pray you mend well and quickly!!! Secondly that block doesn't look the least bit wonky. It looks perfect and I love the fabrics you chose. I hope you can get back into sewing more regularly very, very soon!

I was in an accident on Saturday on my way to a quilting class, but thankfully no one was hurt. It scares the life out of you though!! So very sorry you were hurt in your accident.

Thanks everyone for your concern and compliments. It was good to be able to sew again even though it took me a long time. I am thankful I am healing well and in a few months I will be almost as good as new. All I need is patience, not one of my best quality's. lol
