Cathe - its a Lazy Girl design and still available. It is not one of the easier Lazy Girl patterns to do though her directions are good and she is putting out easier patterns to follow now. Her website and blog are fun to look at and she has quite a following.

Another way to spend some eye candy time for the bag makers!
She also offers a great free bag design the Noriko bag.
    Have fun exploring!

What a great question, naturalmama! Batiks are still a very new frontier for me, and pictures like Tippy and Cathe put up are very inspiring, as well as the quilt Elle was making for her bed

I'm really loving all these photos - thanks for posting them! I really love the effect of the mix - there's something about the batik/"regular" mix that makes it look 3D. There's such a depth to the batik that the contrast really highlights.

I think that "stretching" fabrics to work outside their usual boundaries is a great creative exercise. Batiks have so much color variation that it makes them very exciting to work with.

In the words of Tim Gunn from Project Runway, the clothing design competition--"Make it work! :) :)

    Tippy,

I love the dragon print! Can you give me any info on it?

Thank you all and thank heavens for the "search" on this BB. I want to make a quilt using Bali Pops and a regular fabric blender. All the photos convinced me that I won't be making a huge error!
