    I like the idea of doing what is in your heart because if you don't it will knaw at you. Personally, I might just border it up and just lay it on top of the bed as is. Looks great.

    Beautiful quilt! love the colors. I think if you have enough material you could continue your pattern on the sides to meet your bed ruffle and then do a little border.It would not add any more length to the bottom, but would give the sides a more finished look.

    I agree, I would just continue the pattern on the sides until the white section is filled in to it's point like it is on the bottom and top. Then you can border equally all the way around. If you interrupt your pattern on the side now, like it is, it does look like part of the sides were cut off.
