    Bev, you make it sound so simple! I, too, am thinking "hmm, what a good way to use up some scraps. I could try that!" Thanks for sharing this. Is your finished block 6 1/2"?

    yes its 6 1/2 but you can use any size actually. i just went with 41/2 for center and 61/2 to cut block. i'm gonna start working on tut here in a few mins

    I love the way your blocks are turning out. You could even use different colors of sashing. Now I know what to do with all my little scraps. This would make a great quilt to carry around in the car on trips in the winter.

    There ya go. I miss working on it, but wanted to finish up my duckie one so I can work on the pinup girls :D
