ooooh! how nice. And I love the idea of a "napping quilt"--sounds like something you'd pick up in an expensive little boutique!

It's beautiful! And your first attempt at FMQ is great! What a lucky daughter!

Another beautiful quilt. How wonderful that she picked out her very own fabrics and Daddy made it for her. I think a darling label would be her cuddling up in it and sitting with you. That would be such a sweet ending to that adorable gift of love!
Thanks so much for sharing with all of Eddie!

Wow, Eddie, you really raise the bar with your quilts. What a great 'first attempt' machine quilting. Do you have a free arm, long are or regular sewing machine?

Beautiful quilt and my kind of pattern. I have a jelly roll that I need to use. I'm inspired.

    Just a regular sewing machine. It's a Brother Innovis NX-650 Quilter's machine. I'd love to get a longarm some day...we'll see. :)

I love that kids today like quilts. My step-daughter loves hers. Since she lives with her mom, it "lives" at our house, so doesn't get used a whole lot, consequently, it hasn't gained that "used" softness yet. She will be away to college next year, so it will soon gain its' required softness, I am sure!!!!
