    I have one started in purples and lilacs then another one to do in blues. Cant wait to get them both finished. :roll: :roll:

    You should swap your strings.
    I keep all of mine. I have them all cut into 1", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", and 3" strips. I have several blocks made with them. I just have to put them together now.

    Beautiful string quilts. Goes to show there's no limit to the imagination in quilting.

    The string quilt was one of my favorite things to piece as a child. We used squares of newspaper and peeled it off later. I like the idea of muslin and leaving it there better.

    These string quilts are so neat1 I wish I'd been saving my scraps all along. I'm sure going to do it now! Great job Ellen!
